OnePlus 7 - what do we already know?
Chinese company OnePlus does not cease to surprise! The OnePlus 6T smartphone, which is an upgraded version of the OnePlus 6, has only just been released, and the company is already preparing something completely new. OnePlus 7 - the one in question - is certainly one of the most interesting launches in a long time. Rumors suggest that for the company, it will be a completely innovative model, which is expected to be unveiled as early as May 14.
The dimensions of the OnePlus 7 are expected to be: height - 162.6mm, width - 76mm and thickness - 8.8mm. Its chassis consists of front and rear glass and an aluminum frame. The smartphone features a 6.5-inch Optic Amoled display with a resolution of 1080x2340 pixels, or Full HD+. The ratio of the display size to the entire front panel (screen-to-body ratio) is likely to be as high as 84.5%, and the plastic of which the display is to be made is Corning Gorilla Glass 6.
As for the operating system, the OnePlus 7 is expected to run on the latest Android 9.0 Pie, with the OxygenOS overlay specific to OnePlus devices. The processor to be found in the device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 with Adreno 640 graphics, and it will be supported in front of four Kyro 485 Gold and four Kyro 485 Silver cores.
According to leaks, the OnePlus 7 will appear in a version of 8 GB RAM + 128 GB of user storage, or 12 GB RAM and 256 GB of storage.
An important specification of the OnePlus 7 is also the cameras. A triple camera module is to be mounted on the "back" of the device, which is to include a 48 Mpix camera, with a Sony IMX586 sensor, a 16 Mpix camera with a telephoto lens and an 8 Mpix camera with a wide-angle lens. In addition to what was mentioned earlier, the smartphone is expected to be equipped with a 4,000 mAh battery with up to 30W charging, USB Type-C, two multimedia speakers, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC and a 3.5mm jack input.
In addition to the entry-level OnePlus 7, the OnePlus 7 Pro is expected to be released. It is expected to feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen, with a resolution of 3210x1440 pixels (QHD+). In addition to the processor, which will be the same as that of the non-Pro version, it is expected to get ultra-fast UFS 3.0 memory. Its specs are also expected to include a 4,000 mAh battery, as well as a triple camera that includes a (f/1.6) lens with image stabilization, a 16 mpix (f/2.2) lens and also a (f/2.4) lens. As for the front camera, it is expected to be absolutely remarkable. It will be in vain to look for it on the front panel of the device, as it is rumored to be automatically ejected from the top edge of the case.
Will the aforementioned OnePlus 7 actually look like this and feature the above specifications? We will find out soon enough. We are left waiting and sniffing the news and our categories with cases, glasses and films for One Plus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro.
