Galaxy Tab S7 FE

Galaxy Tab S7 FE — size and build

The Galaxy Tab S7 FE has a 12.4-inch TFT LCD screen with a 60 Hz refresh rate, an aluminium unibody and measures 284.8 × 185 × 6.3 mm, weighing about 608 g. The tablet was sold in Wi-Fi and 5G versions and came with an S Pen in the box. The large screen area and flat metal edges mean that the corners usually take the hit in a fall — it is worth choosing a case that wraps around them.

Galaxy Tab S7 FE cases compatible with the Tab S7+ and Tab S8+

The Galaxy Tab S7 FE has a body with dimensions close to the Galaxy Tab S7+ and Galaxy Tab S8+, which is why the original Samsung Book Cover, Samsung keyboard cases and some Dux Ducis, Tech-Protect and Nillkin models list all three tablets in their names. Cases designed for the Tab S7+ alone do not always fit — body details and cutouts may differ, so before you buy, check that the Tab S7 FE is listed in the product name.

Types of cases

• Flip cases with a stylus holder — Samsung Book Cover, Dux Ducis, Tech-Protect, Infiland. The cover folds into a stand and puts the screen to sleep.
• Keyboard cases — the original Samsung keyboard and Tech-Protect and Infiland models turn the tablet into a typing station. More in the keyboards category.
• Rugged and protective cases — Spigen, Supcase, Speck with an antibacterial coating, and the Samsung Protective Standing Cover with a kickstand.

Tempered glass or film for the Galaxy Tab S7 FE?

Tempered glass (Spigen, Hofi, PanzerGlass, Bizon, Dux Ducis) gives a hard, smooth surface. GrizzGlass hybrid glass is thinner and flexible. For drawing and taking notes with a stylus, matte paper-like films (3mk, Bizon, GrizzGlass) work well — they add resistance under the S Pen tip and reduce reflections from the LCD panel. Privacy glass narrows the viewing angle, and ceramic film stands up well to scratches.

Original Samsung S Pen styluses for this model come in several colours and are handy as a spare or a replacement for a lost one. You will find universal styluses in the styluses for phones and tablets category, and accessories for the other models in the series in the Galaxy Tab S7 Series category.
