Redmi Note 14 Pro

Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G and Note 14 Pro 4G — how they differ

Xiaomi sells two phones under one name. The Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G has a 1.5K screen with a resolution of 2712 × 1220, dimensions of 162.33 × 74.42 × 8.4 mm (8.55 mm in the vegan leather version), a weight of 190 g and IP68 resistance. The Redmi Note 14 Pro 4G has an FHD+ screen, a 162.16 × 74.92 × 8.24 mm body, a weight of 180 g and an IP64 rating. Both versions have a curved 6.67-inch AMOLED panel protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2, a 200 MP main camera and 45 W charging via USB-C. The differences in size mean that cases for the 4G and 5G versions are not interchangeable.

Redmi Note 14 Pro cases — which to choose?

Rugged, silicone and clear

Rugged cases have reinforced corners and a lip that rises above the curved screen, protecting its edges if the phone falls flat. Silicone covers are thin and pleasant to the touch, and clear ones show off the colour of the phone. You will find such models from Bizon, 3mk and Tech-Protect, among others.

With a magnetic ring

The phone has no magnets in its body, so it will not attach to magnetic mounts on its own. The solution is a case with a built-in magnetic ring compatible with MagSafe accessories — wallets, stands and car mounts.

Flip and with a camera cover

Flip cases cover the screen and hold cards, while covers with a sliding lens cover protect the large camera island. Designs of this type are offered by Nillkin and Tech-Protect, among others.

Tempered glass and film for the curved Note 14 Pro screen

Curved edges require protection that adheres precisely to the curve of the screen:

• 3D tempered glass — shaped and full-adhesive, it also covers the rounded edges;
• hydrogel films — flexible, they sit well on the curve and their edges are not lifted by a case;
• matte, privacy, antibacterial and gaming films — for specific uses;
• camera glass — separate protection for the lenses.

Some screen protectors are described as shared by the Note 14 Pro 4G, Note 14 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 14 Pro+ Plus, because the screen size and shape are similar. Cases and camera glass, however, should be matched to the specific version.

What to look for when buying Redmi Note 14 Pro accessories

• 4G or 5G — you can check the version in the phone's settings (About phone); look for “4G” or “5G” in the case name.
• POCO compatibility — some cases for the 5G version also fit the POCO X7, which is indicated in the product name.
• Do not confuse it with the Note 14 — the standard Redmi Note 14 has a flat screen and different dimensions.

You will find the other phones in the series in the Redmi Note 14 Series category.
