Galaxy Tab S6 series — two tablets, two sets of accessories

The Galaxy Tab S6 has a 10.5-inch Super AMOLED screen, a 5.7 mm metal body and a dual camera on the back. Its Bluetooth S Pen attaches magnetically to a recess in the back panel and charges there. The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite has a 10.4-inch LCD screen, is thicker (7 mm) and narrower, and its included S Pen sticks magnetically to the side of the body. Different dimensions and a different camera and button layout mean that cases and glass for one model do not fit the other.

Flip cases with a stylus slot

The cover folds into a stand for watching and writing, and a magnet puts the screen to sleep when closed. In Tab S6 Lite cases, look for a holder or pocket for the S Pen — the tablet's side magnet will not always keep the stylus in place in a backpack. Such models are offered by Samsung, Tech-Protect, Dux Ducis, Infiland and 3mk, among others.

Rugged cases and keyboard cases

For field work and for kids, cases with reinforced corners work well, e.g. from Supcase, Ringke or Tech-Protect. Cases with a detachable Bluetooth keyboard turn the tablet into a small typing station — you will find more models in the keyboards category.

Glass or film for the Galaxy Tab S6 screen?

Tempered glass gives a hard, smooth surface and keeps the image clear. Hybrid glass is thinner and flexible, so it works better with a case that wraps around the screen edges. For drawing, many people choose matte paper-like films — they increase stylus resistance and reduce reflections, at the cost of a slightly softer image.
