Galaxy A20 series — models and differences that matter for accessories

The Galaxy A2x line is Samsung's mid-range, and over successive generations it has changed its screen, materials and size. Even the first models differ noticeably: according to PhoneArena, the Galaxy A20 has a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED screen and a 158.4 × 74.7 × 7.8 mm body, the Galaxy A20e a 5.8-inch screen and a 147.4 × 69.7 × 8.4 mm body, and the Galaxy A20s a 6.5-inch screen and a 163.3 × 77.5 × 8 mm body. Later generations have bigger displays, and in newer models Samsung moved to 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screens and glass backs — the Galaxy A26 5G has a Gorilla Glass Victus+ back and IP67 resistance, while the Galaxy A27 is rated IP64.

Same name, different bodies

Pay particular attention to models sold in 4G and 5G versions. The Galaxy A22 LTE has a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen and a quad camera, while the Galaxy A22 5G has a larger LCD screen, a triple camera and a thicker body. Cases and screen protectors for one version do not fit the other. The same goes for the Galaxy A23 LTE and A23 5G, for which manufacturers make separate accessories.

How to choose a case and screen protector for a Galaxy A20 series phone?

First, identify the exact model — you will find it in Settings, in the section about the phone, or on the box. Then go to its subcategory. With glass, check whether it covers the whole screen including the edges; with a case, check whether it has a raised lip around the camera.
