Galaxy A32 LTE — specifications that matter when choosing accessories

The Galaxy A32 LTE (model number SM-A325F) belongs to the Samsung Galaxy A30 series. It has a flat 6.4-inch Super AMOLED screen with 1080 × 2400 resolution, a 90 Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass 5 on the front. The front camera sits in an Infinity-U notch. The body measures 158.9 × 73.6 × 8.4 mm and weighs about 184 g, and the back and frame are plastic.

On the back there are four cameras (64 MP main) arranged vertically, each in its own ring, with no shared island. The fingerprint reader is optical and hidden under the screen. The phone charges via USB-C at up to 15 W and has a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

Galaxy A32 LTE or Galaxy A32 5G — why it matters

Both versions share the same name but differ in construction. The Galaxy A32 5G has a larger 6.5-inch LCD screen and a different body, so its cases and glass do not fit the LTE version. You can check the model in the phone settings (About phone) — the 4G version is labelled SM-A325.

Tempered glass and film for the Galaxy A32 LTE

Screen protection and the in-display reader

The optical fingerprint reader works with regular tempered and hybrid glass, provided the glass sits flush with no bubbles over the reader area. After applying the glass, it is worth registering your fingerprint again. You will find glass from 3MK, Hofi, PanzerGlass and GrizzGlass, among others, and the range also includes matte privacy glass.

Films and lenses

Ceramic film and protective films are thinner than glass and do not change the feel when swiping. The four individually protruding lenses are protected by camera lens glass. With a case that has a sliding camera cover, extra lens glass is usually not needed.

What to look out for

• Glass shared with the Galaxy A31 — some glass protectors are described by the manufacturer as compatible with both the Galaxy A31 and A32 LTE; cases for these models are not interchangeable, though.
• Case rim — with cameras that have no shared island, a case with a rim raised above the lenses is useful.
• Charger — the phone draws up to 15 W via USB-C; USB-C to USB-C cables and standard USB-C chargers fit.
• Car — for navigation, car holders come in handy; check that the clamps will hold the phone in its case.
