Yeelight Beam RGBIC Light Bar — gradient on the wall and behind the TV

Yeelight Beam RGBIC Light Bar is a set of two horizontal LED bars usually mounted behind the television or on the wall behind a desk. What is a ring light used for?
A ring light provides even face illumination during video recordings, live streams and video calls. It eliminates shadows under the eyes and at the nose that appear with top or side lighting. The characteristic circular catchlight in the eyes is the recognisable "beauty light" effect in portrait photography. It is also useful for close-up product photography (macro) and for lighting a workstation while filming the screen.

Yeelight Beam RGBIC Light Bar — how does the gradient work?
RGBIC technology uses independently addressable LED segments on the bar — each segment can glow a different colour independently of its neighbours. As a result, a single bar can simultaneously display, for example, blue on the left end, green in the middle and red on the right. Standard RGB glows one colour along its entire length. Control is via the Yeelight app, where you choose preset scenes, animations or set a gradient manually.

Can the BlitzWolf BW-LT30 WiFi socket be used for devices other than bulbs?
Yes. BW-LT30 is an E27 adapter that, when screwed into a fitting, creates a smart 230 V socket controlled via WiFi. You can connect a fan, plug-in decorative lights, a charger — anything within the socket's rated power.
