Magnets in the iPhone 12? What's it good for?
From the latest leaks about the iPhone 12, we learned about the arrangement of magnets to be found inside the phone's case. The layout is said to consist of 36 magnets, which will be located under the back panel. This may suggest, therefore, that Apple is creating a new inductive charging system for its devices, which will also allow the device to be more easily mounted in a car mount. If this information is confirmed, it is likely that the magnet layout will be ideally suited to wireless chargers from Apple and dedicated car mounts. Charging the latest models of Apple phones will therefore be even more convenient. The magnets will also certainly succeed in car mounts for even better mounting of the phone in them. Using the new smartphone models from Apple will be even more enjoyable.
Along with the presence of magnets inside the case, we can also expect special charging mats from Apple. Presumably, they would be used for wireless charging of devices from Apple. Magnets placed in the iPhone 12 could also be used to charge AirPods and Apple Watch when they are brought close to the back of the phone. Such a solution was already supposed to be developed but due to some imperfections it has not yet appeared in the previous generation of Apple phones. Only with the iPhone 12 model is it expected to appear on the market and be presented to all customers.
However, this information is still unconfirmed, and it is likely that we will only know the final application of magnets on launch day. It is said that this year Apple will present as many as 4 new phone models with 3 display sizes. Some rumors also say that the new models will not be unveiled at the same time, but will be released gradually. For now, however, all that remains to be done is to wait for the official launches, where we will learn the exact design of the devices and their exact specifications, as well as all the features offered by the new devices.
