Xiaomi Smart Band (formerly Mi Band) is the most popular fitness tracker on the market — lightweight, affordable and functional. Each generation brings a larger display and new features, but also changes the strap attachment system. Therefore, straps are not interchangeable between all generations.

• Smart Band 5 / 6 — capsule removed from the strap
• Smart Band 7 — dedicated attachment system
• Smart Band 9 Pro — larger version with GPS

Strap compatibility

• Smart Band 3/4 — capsule inserted into the strap, shared attachment
• Smart Band 5/6 — capsule inserted, but slightly larger than 3/4
• Smart Band 7 — new attachment system, incompatible with 5/6
• Smart Band 8/9/10 — quick release mechanism, straps interchangeable between 8 and 9

What to pay attention to

Before purchasing, check the generation number of your Smart Band — you can find it in the Zepp Life or Mi Fitness app. Straps between generations look similar but differ in attachment and will not fit a different model.
