Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G

Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G — a big battery in a slim body

The Pro Max is the variant in which Xiaomi focused on the battery: in the European version it has a capacity of 9210 mAh and supports wired charging at up to 100 W. Even so, the body measures 163.44 × 78.27 mm at a thickness of 8.65 mm (8.57 mm in Cloud Blush) and weighs around 225 g. The front is taken up by a flat 6.83-inch AMOLED display under Gorilla Glass Victus 2, and the body is IP66 and IP68 rated.

In the Cloud Blush version, the glass-fibre back changes shade in sunlight — the effect is best seen under a clear case. A simple protective case is included in the box; it offers basic protection, so anyone who needs something sturdier or wants to change the look of the phone will choose a different case.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G case

• Flexible cases — clear and thin, good for those who want to keep the colour of the body visible.
• Cases with a camera cover — with a sliding shutter over the lenses and reinforced corners.
• Flip cases — wallet-style with card slots, also covering the screen.

The outline of the Pro Max is almost identical to the Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G, but the models differ in thickness and camera — the Pro Max main lens has a brighter f/1.5 aperture and larger pixels. Accessory manufacturers make separate cases and lens protectors for each variant.

Redmi Note 17 Pro Max tempered glass and camera protection

Tempered glass works best on the flat screen — clear, with a black frame that masks the edge, matte or privacy. Versions with an applicator frame help you fit it evenly, without misalignment around the front camera. If you prefer thinner protection, choose hybrid glass or a hydrogel, matte or ceramic film. Separate camera lens protectors, also available with a black frame, will cover the lenses, and a back film will protect the rear from scratches.

Interchangeability within the series

Screen glass and films described as Pro 5G / Pro Max 5G fit both phones. The standard Redmi Note 17 4G / 5G has a larger 6.99-inch screen, so its accessories are not compatible with the Pro Max.

Redmi Note 17 Pro Max accessory brands

Accessories come from brands such as BizonMobile, Tech-Protect, GrizzGlass and 3mk — from thin cases to case and tempered glass bundles.

Charging the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G

The phone reaches the full 100 W with an adapter that supports the PPS standard, and no charger is included in the box. Choose a model with the right output among our wall chargers and pick a cable from the USB-C to USB-C cables category. The port also supports wired reverse charging at up to 27 W, so the Pro Max can top up earbuds or another phone.
