Porsche accessories — protecting the glass you look at every day

In Porsche cabins more and more functions have moved to touch panels, from navigation to climate control. Glossy glass quickly picks up fingerprints and fine scratches from rings or keys, and in convertibles and coupés there is sun glare on top. GrizzGlass films are cut for a specific generation and matched to the edges of the bezel.

Porsche car screen protector — models and screen sizes

• Panamera 3 — 12.3" central screen and 10.9" passenger screen, also in multi-piece kits; Panamera 2 separately
• Cayenne 3, including the facelift with 12.3" + 10.9" screens, and the Cayenne 958
• Macan with a 7" screen, the facelifted Macan and the electric Macan 4 with Virtual Cockpit
• Taycan
• 911 Carrera 991.2 (7") and 911 992, 718 Boxster and 718 Cayman (7")

The ceramic film is fully transparent and does not change touch sensitivity. Matte car screen protector diffuses light and does not collect fingerprints — useful in the 911 and 718, where the sun often hits the display directly.

Porsche paint protection film for the bodywork

On these models you can protect the bodywork as well. Clear BodyShield PPF film protects the door sills, pillars, door handle cups and boot lip — the product name states the exact range of parts for a given model and model year. The pillars can be covered with the black or carbon-look version, which refreshes trim that has started to dull.

For the sills there is also HeavyDuty Clear, White or Black: a 0.8 mm matte coating that withstands brush car washes and hides existing chips.

Porsche mirror film and choosing the right kit

The ZeroDrop anti-rain film fits Porsche door mirrors. Its hydrophilic coating makes water run off in a thin layer instead of forming droplets, and as it is adhesive-free, it is safe for auto-dimming mirrors.

Before you buy, it is worth confirming the generation (e.g. Cayenne 958 or Cayenne 3, Panamera 2 or 3) and whether the car has a passenger screen. Porsche belongs to the Volkswagen Group, as does Audi, and some models share platforms with Volkswagen cars, but GRIZZ films are model-specific and cannot be transferred between brands. Phone holders, chargers and films for Android head units are among the universal car accessories, and other brands are in the car accessories category.
