Dash protection film — TFT screens from 4 to 8 inches

A motorcycle dash works in harsher conditions than a car screen: it collects dust, insects, raindrops and fine gravel from the wheels, and is usually wiped with a glove. A scratch on a TFT display is visible every time you look at it, so it is best to apply the film as soon as you buy the bike. Screen sizes in the range:

• 4 inches — Indian Scout, Sport Scout, Super Scout, Chief Dark Horse, Super Chief Limited and FTR, plus the Segway AT6L and AT10 quads,
• 5 inches — KTM Duke and 890 SMT, Yamaha Tenere 700 and its variants and MT-07, Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 and Vitpilen 401, CFMOTO 450MT, Loncin XWOLF 550 and 700,
• 7 inches — Ducati Multistrada V4 (also S, RS, Rally, Pikes Peak), Yamaha TMAX, CFMOTO 800MT Sport and 800MTX, BENDA Redstone 550R, QJMotor SRT 900 SX, Loncin XWOLF 1000L,
• 8 inches — CFMOTO 800MT Explorer and the CFORCE 1000 quad.

Ceramic or matte dash film

Ceramic film is fully transparent and changes neither the colours of the graphics nor touch sensitivity. Matte film reduces glare and does not collect fingerprints — a sensible choice for touring and adventure bikes, where the sun hits the dash from different angles throughout a day's riding.

Motorcycle tank and fairing film

On adventure motorcycles such as the CFMOTO 450MT, it is worth protecting the headlights, fairings and tank as well. Clear BodyShield PPF film covers the headlights, the fairing and the top of the tank — the area that rubs against your jacket, trousers and tank bag. For off-road riding there is the 0.8 mm black HeavyDuty Black coating for the side fairing, swingarm and top of the tank; it absorbs stone impacts and hides existing scratches. The films are sold individually and in multi-piece kits — the product name states the exact range of parts for a given model and model year.

CFMOTO CFORCE and Goes Terrox quads

For the CFMOTO CFORCE 520L, 625, 850 Touring and 1000 Touring quads and the Goes Terrox 1000, there are multi-piece BodyShield kits for the body panels and separate paint protection films for the headlights. The dashes on these machines range from 5 to 8 inches — check the screen size in your quad's specifications.

How to choose a film for your motorcycle

Search by the full model name — variants within one family, such as the Multistrada V4 Rally or Tenere 700 World Raid, have separate listings. The films are not universal and cannot be transferred between models or brands. Films for Honda motorcycles are in the Honda category, and for BMW motorcycles in the BMW category. Truck and tractor screens are in the trucks and agricultural section, and all other products in the car accessories category.
