The POCO M8 Power is built for battery life: it has an 8000 mAh battery, 45 W wired charging and 22.5 W reverse charging. The front is taken up by a 6.9-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, protected by Gorilla Glass 7i. The body is IP65 rated, meaning it is protected against dust and jets of water, but not against immersion.
Despite the similar name, it is not the same phone as the POCO M8 or the POCO M8 Pro. They are separate designs, and model-specific protection is made for each of them separately — choose products named M8 Power, not just the series name.
POCO M8 Power screen protector — how to choose
Flexible, model-cut protection works well with a case — it doesn't lift at the case edges because it doesn't reach the edges of the body. Options include:
- hybrid glass — thin and flexible, it combines the hardness of glass with the shatter resistance of film,
- matte privacy glass — narrows the viewing angle so the person next to you can't read your screen,

You can apply a back film to the rear of the phone — it protects the body from scratches with practically no added thickness, and is useful both without a case and under a clear case. A separate camera lens protector will cover the lenses and take the scratches instead of the module's lens covers.

Films and hybrid glass cut for a specific model, from brands such as GrizzGlass, are made to the screen dimensions of this phone. They don't need trimming, and their edge doesn't go under the lip of the case. Before fitting, clean and dust the screen thoroughly — flexible protection will then adhere without bubbles.
Charging and powering the POCO M8 Power
Reverse charging lets you use the phone as a power bank — connect a USB-C cable and it will top up earbuds, a watch or another phone.
