POCO M8 Pro
POCO M8 Pro is an upgraded budget phone with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display and MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor. The AMOLED panel requires more careful protection than IPS, while 45 W fast charging and NFC make it more versatile than the base M8.

Accessories for POCO M8 Pro
POCO M8 Pro rises above the budget segment thanks to an AMOLED FHD+ display and Dimensity 7300 processor with 5G support. The 5110 mAh battery with 45 W charging, NFC for contactless payments and a 200 MP camera deliver solid specs at an accessible price. The AMOLED panel, while visually striking, is more susceptible to mechanical damage than IPS, making proper screen protection especially important.
POCO M8 Pro vs POCO M8
Despite sharing the series name, POCO M8 and M8 Pro differ in dimensions and camera layout. Cases and screen protectors are not interchangeable between these models. The M8 Pro is slightly thicker due to the larger battery, and the camera island has a different shape for the 200 MP module.
Types of protective accessories
The AMOLED screen in M8 Pro calls for the right approach to protection:
- Tempered glass with oleophobic coating is the best protection for AMOLED panels
- Hydrogel films adhere more precisely and are less visible, but offer weaker impact protection
- Silicone and hybrid cases absorb drops and protect corners
- Rugged cases with dual construction (TPU + PC) for maximum protection
Brands at homescreen.pl
For POCO M8 Pro we carry accessories from Nillkin, Spigen, Ringke, 3MK and Tech-Protect. Nillkin specializes in glass with Amazing H+ Pro coating, which handles fingerprints on AMOLED panels well. For POCO series fans, value protection kits are also available.
What to look for
When buying tempered glass for M8 Pro, check whether it is compatible with the in-display fingerprint sensor (if the model has one). Not all glass transmits the optical sensor signal. Choose full glue glass that adheres across the entire surface rather than just at the edges.
For the optimal kit, combine a hybrid case with tempered glass. This proven combination protects both the screen and the back and corners of the device. Accessories for POCO M7+ Plus 5G and POCO M6 Plus can be found in their dedicated categories.
