Vivo X500 Pro Max — protection starts with the camera module
In camera phones the most expensive and most exposed element is the lens assembly. It protrudes above the body, so every time you put the phone down on its back it touches the tabletop first, and any scratch on a lens then shows in photos taken against the light — as flares and softened edges of the frame.
That is why with this model it is worth combining two safeguards: a case with a pronounced rim around the island and separate small glasses applied directly to the lenses. The rim keeps the module away from the surface, the glasses protect against the grains of sand that get into the cutout.
Vivo X500 Pro Max cases — what to pay attention to
- The margin around the cameras — the higher the case rises above the edge of the island, the better. A case with a flush cutout practically does not protect the lenses.
- Grip — a large phone with a heavy camera module shifts the centre of gravity upwards. A case with textured sides clearly reduces the risk of it slipping out.
- Access to the buttons — if you use the shutter release or camera shortcuts, check whether the case makes a quick press harder.
- Magnet ring — it decides whether mounts, stands and magnetic charging will work; in this segment the magnets are rarely built into the phone body.
A photography kit means a separate case
The clip-on teleconverter from the manufacturer's kit for photographers mounts only on a dedicated case with a bayonet ring — an ordinary case will not accept it. No. The Pro Max version has its own dimensions and a differently built camera module, so cutouts from the remaining variants do not land on the lenses.
