From the point of view of choosing accessories, however, something else matters most: variants within the same series do not share a body. Compatibility between generations
Accessories from the previous series do not fit the new one. Successive generations change the body dimensions and above all the geometry of the camera module — and it is that which decides whether the cutout in the case lands on the lenses. The same rule applies to glass: a difference of a few millimetres in the diagonal means the edges do not line up with the screen panel.
The only accessories that remain universal are those unrelated to the body — power banks, cables and chargers.
