Changan

Changan protection films — where to start

Changan and its sub-brand Deepal make SUVs with large painted surfaces and wide sills. That is exactly where the first signs of use appear: scratches from shoes when getting in, scuffs when loading the boot, dulled paint on the pillars after a car wash. The GRIZZ range for this brand therefore focuses on the bodywork, complemented by screen films. Every film is cut for a specific model — the Changan CS55 Plus, Changan CS75 Plus, Deepal S05 or Deepal S07 — and fitted at home with the kit included in the box.

Changan paint protection film — three ways to protect the bodywork

• BodyShield — clear polyurethane PPF film, invisible on the paintwork and self-healing after light scratches. It protects the sills, boot lip, pillars, door handle cups, door handles and headlights — the product name states the exact range of parts for a given model and model year.
• HeavyDuty Clear, White or Black — a 0.8 mm matte technical coating for the sills and boot lip. It absorbs stone impacts, hides existing scratches and copes with brush car washes. A good choice when a dog, a bike or toolboxes regularly travel in the boot.
• BodyShield Black and BodyShield Carbon — black pillar film and carbon-look film for the pillars and boot lip. They refresh scratched parts and give them a sporty character.

The pillar film is split into a different number of pieces on each model, so choose the kit labelled with the name of your model.

Changan screen protector — screen sizes by model

The infotainment screens in these cars are large and glossy, so they easily collect fingerprints and reflect the sun. CarDisplay Protection is available in these sizes:

• Deepal S05 — 15.4 inches,
• Deepal S07 — 15.6 inches,
• Changan CS55 Plus — 24.8 inches,
• Changan CS75 Plus — 37 inches.

The ceramic film is fully transparent and keeps colours and touch sensitivity intact. Matte car screen protector reduces glare and does not collect fingerprints — on the wide panels of the CS55 Plus and CS75 Plus, where light falls at different angles, the difference is noticeable.

How to choose Changan accessories

First check the model and, for the screen, also its size. The screens of the Deepal S05 and S07 differ by just a fraction of an inch, which is why the films are not interchangeable. GRIZZ products are model-specific and cannot be transferred between models or brands. If you are looking for something not tied to a particular car, take a look at the universal car accessories category.

Other Chinese brands with GRIZZ films include Jetour, JAC and Chery. The full range is in the car accessories section.
