Width and compatibility

The Watch Fit 4 uses a quick-release system — the strap detaches with a single motion, no pins or tools needed. When buying, make sure the strap is listed as compatible with the Watch Fit 4 or has the correct lug width. Straps from the Watch Fit 3 may fit if the same lug width was retained — always check the specifications.

Screen protection for Watch Fit 4

The rectangular 480x408 px AMOLED display is susceptible to scratches — especially during weightlifting or physical work. Available protection options:

• Hydrogel film — flexible, conforms to the rounded edges of the display. Does not affect touch sensitivity.

The Watch Fit 4 offers GPS, NFC (grey variant only), 5 ATM water resistance, and a 10-day battery. For swimming, go with a silicone strap — fabric and leather materials degrade after prolonged exposure to chlorinated water. NFC for contactless payments works with any strap, as the module is located in the watch case itself.

Watch Fit 4 vs other Huawei watches

Huawei offers several smartwatch lines with different case shapes and strap widths. Accessories for the Watch Fit 4 do not fit round-case models such as the Watch GT 5, Watch GT 6, or Watch Ultimate — those watches have a different shape and strap width. The Watch Fit 3 is the direct predecessor with a similar rectangular format, while the Huawei Watch 5 belongs to the round-dial line.
