Thermomix TM7 — screen protection

The Thermomix TM7 brought a refreshed design and a larger touchscreen, which has become an even more central part of operating the device. The model builds on the TM6 concept — it keeps Cookidoo and WiFi integration, but offers a faster processor and improved controls. For homescreen.pl customers this means one thing: a bigger screen that is worth protecting from day one.

What do we offer for the Thermomix TM7?

The range of protective accessories for the TM7 display covers proven product categories:

• Protective films — a basic barrier against scratches and dirt. Thin and clear, they do not change the look of the screen.
• Hybrid glass — a hard protective layer in a flexible form. Impact resistance without the risk of cracking.
• Decorative stickers — change the look of the device with extra surface protection.

Do TM6 accessories fit the TM7?

Despite some design similarities, TM6 films and glass are not fully compatible with the TM7. Differences in display dimensions and sensor placement mean that accessories made for the Thermomix TM6 may not adhere properly or may not cover the entire TM7 screen. Always choose products labelled as made for the TM7.

Why is TM7 screen protection important?

A larger display means a larger surface exposed to mechanical damage. In kitchen conditions — hot steam, grease, food particles — even a tough screen gradually loses its original quality. Protective films and hybrid glass act as a shield: they take the scratches and dirt, and when they wear out, you replace them for a fraction of the cost of a display repair.

Comparing Thermomix models

If you are wondering about the differences between generations, it is worth knowing that the TM5 had a screen of just 3.5", and the TM6 — 6.8". The TM7 goes even further in display size and interaction options. Each of these models needs its own dedicated protective accessories — they are not interchangeable between generations.
