Accessories for iPad Air 13-inch (2024/2025)

iPad Air 13" is the first large format in the Air line, debuting with the M2 chip. The large 13-inch Liquid Retina display makes it an excellent tool for multitasking, graphic editing and watching films. The 2025 model with the M3 chip keeps identical dimensions.

Compatibility

iPad Air 13" 2024 (M2) and iPad Air 13" 2025 (M3) have identical dimensions, so cases and glass are interchangeable between generations. However, iPad Air 13" has different dimensions from iPad Pro 12.9"/13" — accessories are not compatible between the Air and Pro lines.

Accessory types

• Smart case — tri-fold cover, stand function, automatic sleep
• Back cases — back protection, compatible with Magic Keyboard
• 9H tempered glass — protection for the large Liquid Retina display
• Matte paperlike films — a paper texture for Apple Pencil Pro
• Keyboard cases — Magic Keyboard and Bluetooth alternatives

What to look out for

iPad Air 13" supports Apple Pencil Pro (magnetic attachment on the top edge) and Magic Keyboard (Smart Connector on the back). Make sure the case does not block either contact point. Back cases must be thin enough not to interfere with the Magic Keyboard connection.

Smaller model: iPad Air 11" 2024. Older iPad Air: iPad Air 5 (2022), iPad Air 4 (2020).
