Four Operating Modes Tailored to Different Applications
The UGREEN CM740 allows for quick changes in operation mode using the switch on the front panel. The Standard mode enables normal communication between all ports. The Link Aggregation feature allows you to combine ports 23 and 24, achieving a throughput of up to 2 Gbps, which is particularly useful when working with NAS devices. There is also a VLAN (Port Isolation) mode, where ports 1–22 are isolated from each other and communicate with port 23 or 24, helping to reduce network storms. Meanwhile, the Flow Control Off mode reduces latency during the transmission of large amounts of data.

The switch operates on Plug & Play technology, making it ready for use immediately after connecting power and network cables.
