USB-A to Lightning cables
USB-A to Lightning cables are classic cables for charging and synchronizing iPhones, iPads, and Apple accessories such as AirPods. The USB-A connector ensures compatibility with most wall chargers, car chargers, and power banks available on the market.
We offer Lightning cables from Baseus, Joyroom, USAMS, and other manufacturers — in various lengths and colors, with nylon braiding or smooth casing, with MFi certification or as reliable third-party alternatives.

Lightning Cable — an essential accessory for iPhone
USB-A to Lightning cable is still the most popular way to charge iPhones up to the 14th generation, basic iPads, and accessories such as AirPods 1st/2nd generation or the Apple TV Remote. Even though newer iPhones have switched to USB-C, millions of users still use devices with a Lightning connector on a daily basis.
MFi certification — is it necessary?
The MFi (Made for iPhone/iPad) certification is Apple's licensing program confirming accessory compatibility. MFi cables undergo quality testing and are guaranteed to work seamlessly with iOS. If you want peace of mind, it's worth going for a cable with this designation.
At the same time, trusted manufacturers like Baseus, Joyroom, and USAMS offer cables without MFi certification that also work reliably and are more durable than many cheap alternatives. The key factors are brand reputation and build quality.
What to look for when choosing
- Supported charging current — 2.4A cables allow for maximum charging speed through a USB-A port
- Braid material — nylon braiding is significantly more durable than a PVC plastic sleeve
- Reinforced connectors — aluminum plug housings protect against cracking
- Length — from 25 cm (for a power bank) through 1 m (standard) to 2–3 m (comfort in the living room)
Lightning vs USB-C — which cable for which iPhone?
iPhones from model 15 onwards use a USB-C connector — for these you need a USB-A to USB-C cable or USB-C to USB-C. If, on the other hand, you have a charger with a USB-C port and an iPhone with a Lightning connector (models 5–14), go for a USB-C to Lightning cable — it enables fast Power Delivery charging.
Other useful cables
Users with multiple devices with different connectors can take advantage of 3-in-1 cables, which combine Lightning, USB-C, and micro USB in a single cable. For wired headphones with an iPhone, a audio cable with a Lightning–jack adapter will come in handy.
Frequently asked questions
Which cable for iPhone 13 or 14?
iPhone 13 and 14 have a Lightning connector — you need a USB-A to Lightning cable (this category) or USB-C to Lightning if you want to use fast PD charging. For iPhone 15 and newer, a cable with a USB-C plug is required.
Does a Lightning cable support fast charging?
A USB-A to Lightning cable does not support Power Delivery. The maximum charging power through USB-A is approx. 12W (5V/2.4A). To achieve fast PD charging (up to 20W, iPhone to 50% in 30 min), you need a USB-C to Lightning cable and a PD charger.
