Vivo V70 is a mid-range smartphone with ZEISS optics, an aluminium frame and a 6500 mAh battery with 90 W charging. Its dimensions of 157.5 × 74.3 × 7.4 mm make it noticeably compact compared to the Vivo V50 (163.3 × 76.7 mm) and Vivo V60 (163.5 × 77.0 mm) — it is 6 mm shorter and almost 3 mm narrower. This means cases and screen protectors from previous generations will not be compatible.

• The aluminium frame is scratch-resistant, but a case protects it from dents when dropped on hard surfaces
• IP68/IP69 certification does not protect against screen cracks or back scratches — a case provides an extra layer of safety
• Ultra-thin bezels (1.25 mm) make a case with a raised lip around the display particularly recommended

The flat 6.59-inch screen makes tempered glass application easy — no need to worry about edge curling. 9H glass protects against scratches and cracks, while hybrid films from 3mk combine flexibility with hardness. It is also worth considering glass for the camera module — the three ZEISS lenses and ring LED take up a considerable area on the back.
