Nothing Phone (3a) — what matters when choosing accessories

The Phone (3a) has a flat 6.77-inch AMOLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate, a flat-sided frame and weighs 201 g. The back is covered with transparent glass, under which you can see decorative elements and the Glyph lights that signal notifications. On the side there is an extra Essential Key button. The body has an IP64 rating — it will handle rain, but not submersion. On the back there are three cameras: a 50 MP main camera with optical image stabilisation, a 50 MP telephoto with 2x zoom and an 8 MP ultra-wide.

The front dimensions are the same as on the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro, which is why manufacturers describe many screen glass and films as shared by both models, and some also by the CMF Phone 2 Pro. Cases are not interchangeable — the Pro version has a much larger camera island. The Phone (3a) Lite also has its own category.

Tempered glass and screen film for the Nothing Phone (3a)

The flat screen makes any protector easy to apply. You can choose from tempered glass with or without a black frame, also with an alignment frame for even application, flexible hybrid glass, matte privacy glass, as well as matte, hydrogel, ceramic and multi-layer films. The glass back can be protected with a back film, and the lenses with separate camera protectors.

When choosing glass, check its compatibility with your case. Full-coverage glass with a black frame looks neat, but with a case that has a high lip, thinner hybrid glass or films work better, as the lip does not lift them.
