Wireless headphones are a popular audio category — from compact TWS (True Wireless Stereo) to over-ear models with ANC. Each type has its own use — the choice depends on where and how you listen to music.
Headphone types
- Earbuds — sit in the outer ear, without tips that go into the ear canal. Comfortable for longer, and you can hear your surroundings.
- In-ear — with silicone tips that go into the ear canal. Better sound isolation, stronger bass, ANC
- Over-ear — full-size, covering the ear. The best sound quality and the most effective ANC, but bulky to carry.
- Open-ear — an open design that does not block your ears. Safe for outdoor sport
