Automatic Qi Clamp
iOttie Auto Sense Wireless Qi is a car mount with wireless charging, designed for installation on the windshield or dashboard. The proximity sensor automatically detects a phone nearby and closes the arms, securely holding the device without the need for manual adjustment. This solution allows for quick placement of the phone in the mount, and release is done by pressing two side buttons, enabling easy one-handed removal of the device. For phones and cases with black or matte finishes, a reflective sticker is included to enhance the sensor's effectiveness. The sensor detects devices from a distance of over 7 cm, and for optimal performance, it is recommended to mount the holder in a perpendicular position. Once the phone is placed, wireless charging compliant with the Qi standard begins.
Qi Wireless Charging
The mount supports certified wireless charging Qi, allowing the phone to be powered without the need to connect a cable directly to the device. The maximum charging power is up to 7.5 W for iPhone and up to 10 W for Android devices compatible with this technology. For proper operation, it is recommended to use the included car charger and Micro USB cable. If using a charger from another manufacturer, an adapter compatible with Qualcomm Quick Charge or its equivalent is required to enable wireless charging of compatible devices. Before use, ensure that the phone supports the Qi Wireless standard.
Mounting on Windshield and Dashboard
