SONOFF MINIR4 is a compact Wi-Fi switch that allows you to transform traditional electrical installations into smart home elements. The device enables the automation of lighting and other electrical devices, providing convenient control from the app and voice assistants. With dimensions of just 39.5 × 33 × 16.8 mm, the module easily fits into various installation boxes, including those with limited space. It is 40% smaller than the MINIR2 model and 60% smaller than the MINIR3, making installation easier even in the smallest European standard boxes. The housing is made of PC V0 material with the highest flame resistance rating, increasing resistance to high temperatures, and the relay used is designed for up to 100,000 switching cycles.

Efficient Operation and Wide Compatibility

The heart of the device is a dual-core ESP32 chip, ensuring fast and stable operation and efficient automation function handling. The MINIR4 works with doorbell buttons, classic light switches, SPDT switches, exit buttons, and sensors with a potential-free contact, making it easy to integrate with both new installations and existing control systems.

Smart Scenes and Convenient Control

The switch can work with motion sensors, door and window sensors, and other smart home devices, creating advanced automation scenarios such as automatically turning on the lighting upon detecting motion or opening a door. It supports time schedules, countdowns, and cyclic timers. When paired with SONOFF R5 or S-MATE devices, they can serve as local remote controls communicating with the MINIR4 via eWeLink-Remote signal. Additionally, the device works with voice assistants Amazon Alexa and Google Home.

Flexible Configuration and Power Loss Protection

The MINIR4 is equipped with a Detach Relay mode, which separates the state of the connected switch from the state of the relay, allowing the use of the physical switch without affecting the operation of the device controlled by the module. The switch also offers a delayed start function after power restoration, which helps reduce the risk of high inrush currents resulting from the simultaneous startup of multiple devices.

Integration with Home Assistant and Cloud Services

The MINIR4 can be integrated with the Home Assistant platform, expanding the automation capabilities of the smart home. Additionally, cooperation with eWeLink Web and IFTTT under the eWeLink Advanced plan allows for the creation of more advanced action scenarios.
