Precise Control of Light and Exposure

The variable neutral density filter (VND) offers adjustment of image darkening from 3 to 10 stops. This allows you to shoot photos or videos even in very bright light without overexposure – without the need to change the shutter speed or aperture. The included ND32 filter extends the range of operation to a maximum of 10 stops, which is ideal for long exposures, motion blur, timelapse, or filming with a cinematic smoothness effect.

Mechanical Lock – Stability Without Magnets

Unlike traditional magnetic filters, Freewell has implemented a mechanical locking system that holds the filter firmly in place. The filter does not rotate on its own and does not fall off, even during intense camera movement or when working with a gimbal. Installation and removal are quick – just press the side latches.
