Description
The Meross MSH450PROMA Wi-Fi smart hub is designed to connect and manage compatible accessories in a smart home.
It supports Bluetooth Low Energy, 433 MHz RF and the Matter standard, so it will integrate older and newer Meross devices in one system. It works with Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Home Assistant.
Stable connectivity
The device uses two communication protocols, Bluetooth Low Energy and 433 MHz RF, so it will support various Meross sensors and accessories in one system. A range of up to 150 m lets you communicate with devices placed in different parts of the home. The updated platform offers up to 200% higher data processing speed compared to the MSH450 model. In addition, the hub has passed more than 10,000 connection load tests, which confirms its suitability for stable operation with many devices.
Matter and local control
Support for the Matter standard lets you add compatible Meross accessories to your chosen smart home ecosystem. Users can create automations and issue voice commands through compatible platforms. Local communication reduces dependence on cloud services, which supports fast device response and increases privacy.
Personalized voice alerts
The hub plays custom voice messages that inform household members about events detected by compatible sensors. When a smoke alarm is triggered, it can play a message indicating the type of hazard and the room where it was detected. As a result, users get more information than from a sound signal alone, and the device also has a standard audible alarm.
Migration without pairing
The one-touch migration function lets you transfer previously connected accessories from an older hub to a new one. There is no need to pair them again.
Setup from a smartphone
Setup is done via a smartphone running iOS 16.1 or later or Android 8.1 or later. The hub works on a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network, so it requires an existing network of this standard. The LED indicates the device's operating status, and the built-in button makes it easy to operate.
