To create the Presidio Grip for the Samsung Galaxy Note, Speck used its latest IMPACTIUM™ Shock Barrier technology, which protects the phone from damage during a fall. This is all thanks to two layers: the outer layer, which disperses the impact force, and the inner IMPACTIUM™ layer, which absorbs shocks.
In this way, the case effectively secures the phone and protects it from damage, even during a drop from a height of 3 meters. Additionally, Speck has patented a display protection system in its cases that minimizes the risk of damage to the phone when it falls screen-down. All Speck products are tested for scratch resistance, chemical resistance, and precise fit, to deliver high-quality cases.
The Presidio series is the thinnest line of cases from Speck. It was developed based on the previous CandyShell line but modified in terms of the amount and type of material. The decision was made to exclude excess material without sacrificing protective effectiveness, creating a unique, perfectly fitted case with a slim design that provides the best protection for the smartphone. Moreover, the Presidio, thanks to the latest IMPACTIUM™ technology, absorbs 52% more shocks than the TPE rubber used in the CandyShell series cases.
