Accessory types
- Hinge cases — protecting the hinge and both halves of the phone
- Back cases — rear protection with S Pen Fold Edition support
- Inner screen films — hydrogel or PET, tempered glass is not recommended for the flexible screen
- Outer screen glass — standard 9H glass for the 6.2-inch screen
- Camera glass — protection for the triple camera module
What to look for
The Z Fold 5 inner screen has a factory-applied protective film — removing it may damage the screen. Additional protective films are designed to be applied on top of the factory layer. Do not install tempered glass on the inner screen — rigid glass may damage the flexible display.
Newer model: Galaxy Z Fold 6. Foldable clamshell: Galaxy Z Flip 5. Older model: Galaxy Z Fold 4.
FAQ
Does a Z Fold 4 case fit the Z Fold 5?
No — the Z Fold 5 has a redesigned hinge (no gap when closed), which affects dimensions. It requires a dedicated case.
Can I apply tempered glass on the Z Fold 5 inner screen?
No — the inner screen is flexible and tempered glass may damage it. Use only hydrogel or PET films.
