Xiaomi Mi 11i/11X/11X Pro

Xiaomi Mi 11i, Mi 11X and Mi 11X Pro: one body

The Mi 11i is the global version of the Chinese Redmi K40 Pro+, while the Mi 11X and Mi 11X Pro are models for the Indian market based on the same design. The Mi 11i and Mi 11X Pro have a Snapdragon 888 processor and a 108 MP main camera, the Mi 11X has a Snapdragon 870 and a 48 MP camera, just like the POCO F3. The body is shared by the whole family, which is why manufacturers often describe accessories as "Mi 11i / POCO F3".

According to the specifications, the Mi 11i measures 163.7 × 76.4 × 7.8 mm and weighs 196 g. The 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate is protected by Gorilla Glass 5, and the fingerprint reader is built into the power button on the side. The body is rated IP53: it can withstand splashes, but not submersion.

Xiaomi Mi 11i cases: which to choose

Because the reader sits in the side button, a case for the Mi 11i must have a cut-out there rather than a covered button, otherwise fingerprint unlocking will stop working. The camera island protrudes above the back, so it is worth choosing a model with a lip around the lenses.

• silicone and clear: thin, they keep the phone slim,
• rugged and matte TPU: thicker frames and shock-absorbing corners,
• with a sliding camera cover: they cover the lenses when you are not taking photos,
• flip and wallet: with card pockets.

In this category you will find accessories from brands such as Spigen, Nillkin, Dux Ducis, Crong, Tech-Protect and 3MK.

Watch out for the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge

The Xiaomi 11i and Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge are completely different phones from the Mi 11i: they have a different body and a different camera layout. Cases described as "11i HyperCharge" do not fit the Mi 11i, Mi 11X or Mi 11X Pro.

Tempered glass and film for the Mi 11i

The screen is flat, so both tempered glass and thinner protectors fit it. Tempered glass for the Mi 11i with a black frame covers the front almost to the edge, while glass labelled as case-friendly is slightly smaller so that it does not lift at the lip of the case. Hybrid glass and films are flexible and thin. Matte privacy glass, antibacterial films, lens glass and back films are also available.

A screen protector described as "Mi 11X Pro" or "Mi 11X" fits all three, because the screens are identical.

Other Xiaomi Mi 11 models

Other phones in the series have different dimensions and screens: the Xiaomi Mi 11 and Mi 11 Ultra differ in size and screen shape, so their accessories are not interchangeable with the Mi 11i. You will find the whole family in the Xiaomi Mi 11 Series category, and the Chinese counterparts in the Redmi K40 category.
