Tempered Glass Galaxy A57

Tempered glass for Samsung Galaxy A57

The Samsung Galaxy A57 is a smartphone with IP67 certification — resistant to splashes and brief immersion. Water resistance, however, does not protect the screen against mechanical damage. A fall onto a kerb or contact with keys in your pocket can scratch or shatter the 6.6-inch FHD+ 2340 x 1080 pixel display. Tempered glass for Galaxy A57 takes these impacts instead.

Types of tempered glass for Galaxy A57

• 2.5D glass — a flat pane with gently rounded edges. The easiest installation and full compatibility with cases. It covers the active area of the display.
• 3D full cover glass — curved edges cover the screen from bezel to bezel. Fuller coverage, but installation requires precision — it is worth using the included applicator.
• Full glue glass — the adhesive is applied to the entire surface, not just the frame. The result: no "rainbow" effect, better adhesion and full compatibility with the Galaxy A57 fingerprint reader.
• Privacy glass — a filter that limits the viewing angle to about 30° on each side. Content on the screen is visible only to the person holding the phone.

Why is IP67 not enough?

The IP67 certification of the Galaxy A57 means protection against dust and immersion in water up to 1 m for 30 minutes. It does not, however, protect against mechanical impacts — a drop from your hand onto a hard surface is a completely different category of risk. 9H tempered glass absorbs the impact energy and prevents a direct crack in the AMOLED display, which is expensive to replace.

Popular glass brands for Galaxy A57

• 3mk — HardGlass MAX with full glue technology, precisely cut for the 6.6-inch screen of the Galaxy A57. Oleophobic and anti-static coating.
• Spigen — GlasTR EZ Fit with a patented applicator. Bubble-free installation in under a minute.
• PanzerGlass — glass with Drop Protection certification and an antibacterial coating. A Danish manufacturer with many years of experience.
• Nillkin — models with a double oleophobic coating that lasts longer than a standard one. A good choice if fingerprints bother you.

Compatibility and installation

• Look for the "case-friendly" label — the glass should not clash with the edges of Galaxy A57 cases.
• Fingerprint reader — the Galaxy A57 has an under-display reader. Full glue glass works better with the reader than glass with edge-only adhesive.
• Installation applicator — it makes centring the glass much easier. Models from Spigen and 3mk often include one.

Complete protection for the Galaxy A57 comes from combining tempered glass with a camera lens protector and a Galaxy A57 case. An alternative to screen glass is hybrid glass for Galaxy A57 — thinner and more flexible.

Frequently asked questions

Does tempered glass change the look of the AMOLED screen?

Glass with transparency above 95% (3mk, Spigen, PanzerGlass) has no noticeable effect on the brightness, contrast or colour saturation of the AMOLED display in the Galaxy A57. An oleophobic coating reduces glare and makes cleaning easier.

How do you install tempered glass without bubbles?

Before installation, clean the screen with the included cloth and remove dust particles with the sticker. Use the applicator — a frame that centres the glass automatically. Press from the centre towards the edges to push out the air.
