Cases for Oppo A74 — two versions, two accessory sets

Oppo A74 comes in 4G and 5G variants that differ in screen and dimensions. The 4G version has a 6.43-inch AMOLED FHD+ panel, the 5G version has a 6.5-inch IPS. Both models offer a 5000 mAh battery and 33W fast charging. Before buying accessories, check which version you have — cases are not interchangeable between variants.

• Flip cases — screen protection (especially valuable for the AMOLED 4G version) with card pocket.
• Armored cases — reinforced corners and raised edges. Solid drop protection.
• Tempered glass — fitted to the screen size of each version (6.43" or 6.5").

How to check your Oppo A74 version?

Easiest in Settings, About Phone. The 4G version (CPH2219) has an AMOLED screen with in-display reader, the 5G version (CPH2197) has IPS with a side reader. This is a key difference affecting tempered glass selection: the 4G version requires glass compatible with the optical reader.

AMOLED vs IPS — what does it change?

The AMOLED screen in the 4G version is more expensive to repair — tempered glass protection is especially justified here. The 5G version with IPS is cheaper to service, but protection still pays off. In both cases, the flat screen makes standard 2.5D glass easy to apply.
