Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra

Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra — specs that matter when choosing a case

The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra measures 326.3 × 208.5 × 5.1 mm and weighs about 695 g. It has a flat 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a factory anti-reflective coating, an Armor Aluminum frame and IP68 certification. There are two lenses on the back and a single front camera in a small screen notch. When a tablet this large and thin is dropped, the corners and screen are the most vulnerable, so a case with a stiffened back and reinforced corners really matters here.

The S Pen included with this model has a hexagonal shape, does not use Bluetooth and attaches to the edge of the tablet. When choosing a case, check whether it leaves access to that edge or has its own stylus holder.

Which Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra case should you choose?

Flip cases

The cover protects the screen in a bag, and when folded it forms a stand for films and writing. The original Samsung Smart Book Cover, Bizon flip models, Tech-Protect with a stylus holder and Tucano let you set the tablet at various angles.

Rugged and frame cases

Spigen has prepared several cases for this model — from slim to rugged. The Samsung Frame Cover is a lighter case with a stand function. With cases that have a high rim over the screen, check that it does not get in the way when writing with the stylus right at the edges.

Glass or film for the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra screen?

The screen has its own coating that reduces reflections. Glossy tempered glass will cover it with its own surface, so if you care about this effect, consider Samsung anti-reflective film or a matte paper-like film.

• Tempered glass (Spigen, PanzerGlass, Tech-Protect) — a hard layer for people who often carry the tablet without a case.
• Hybrid glass (3mk, GrizzGlass) — thin and flexible, does not lift with a framed case.
• Matte and paper-like films (Bizon, 3mk, GrizzGlass) — noticeable resistance under the S Pen tip for notes and drawing.
• Privacy protection and ceramic film (Bizon, GrizzGlass) — for working in public places.

Compatibility with the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra and older Ultra models

The body has almost the same outline as the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, but it is thinner and has a different front camera notch. Manufacturers describe some glass protectors and cases as compatible with several Ultra generations — go by the list of models in the product name. Bizon camera lens glass protects the two protruding lenses. You will find the smaller model in the series in the Galaxy Tab S11 category, the whole series in Galaxy Tab S11 Series, and spare styluses in styluses for phones and tablets.
