Realme GT6 Series

Realme GT 6 and GT 6T — design and choosing accessories

Both phones have a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED screen curved at the side edges and protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2, a flat plastic frame, a 5500 mAh battery with 120 W charging via USB-C and an IP65 rating. They differ in camera and weight:

• Realme GT 6 — 162 × 75.1 × 8.6 mm, 199 g, three cameras (50 MP, 50 MP telephoto, 8 MP).
• Realme GT 6T — 162 × 75.1 × 8.7 mm, 191 g, two cameras (50 + 8 MP) and a plastic rear panel.

Cases described as compatible with the GT 6 and GT 6T fit both models, and the manufacturer also assigns some of them to the Chinese GT Neo 6 and GT Neo 6 SE. Glass and lens protectors are sometimes made separately for each phone — a different number of cameras means a different cut-out layout.

Realme GT 6 cases — your options

• Rugged cases — reinforced corners and raised edges above the curved screen, in several colours.
• Silicone cases — slim and soft to the touch, with a microfibre or smooth lining.
• Clear cases — flexible back covers that show off the finish of the rear panel.
• Flip cases — they cover the screen and have card pockets.
• Matte cases with a magnetic ring — they let you use magnetic holders.

Glass and screen films for the curved GT 6 and GT 6T screen

The curved edges are the main challenge when protecting the screen. Ordinary flat glass will not adhere to the sides, so in this category you will find solutions designed for this shape:

3D and UV-cured glass

3D tempered glass is shaped to the curve and bonded across the whole surface. UV glass is applied with a liquid adhesive that is cured with a lamp — it fills the space at the edges and reduces the “rainbow” effect and lifting.

Hydrogel and protective films

Hydrogel films are flexible and wrap around the rounded sides of the screen. On top of that, there are protective films with an antibacterial coating, matte films and back films.

Lens protectors

Choose hybrid camera glass for your specific model — the GT 6 has three lenses, the GT 6T has two.

What to look for

• Under-display reader — after fitting glass or film, register your fingerprint again.
• Case and screen protection — with a curved screen, choose case and glass bundles that the manufacturer has tested together.
• Charger — the full 120 W requires a charger compatible with the SUPERVOOC standard. You will find universal models in the smartphone chargers category and cables in USB-C to USB-C cables.

You will find accessories for other generations in the Realme GT7 Series, Realme GT5 Series and Realme GT Neo Series categories, as well as in Realme GT Series.
