Oppo Find X8s

Oppo Find X8s – the compact model of the Find X8 series

The Find X8s is the compact model in the Find X8 family. According to the manufacturer's specifications, it has a 6.32-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2640 × 1216 and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, and the body measures approximately 150.59 × 71.82 × 7.73 mm and weighs around 179 g. The screen is flat and surrounded by narrow bezels. The frame is aluminium, and the front and back are covered with glass. The phone is IP68- and IP69-rated, supports 80 W wired and 50 W wireless charging, and has a USB-C port. On the side there is a programmable shortcut button.

Its dimensions differ significantly from the larger Oppo Find X8s Plus and Oppo Find X8 with 6.59-inch screens, so when buying, check that the product name says exactly Find X8s.

Screen protector film for Oppo Find X8s

For this model, thin GrizzGlass screen protection is available in several variants:

• Ceramic film – harder than regular film, yet flexible and resistant to cracking.
• Hydrogel film – soft and closely adhering, with a self-healing effect on minor scratches.
• Matte film – reduces glare and fingerprints, and gives a feel similar to writing on paper.

Hybrid and privacy glass for Find X8s

Hybrid glass combines the rigidity of glass with the flexibility of film and is very thin, so it does not lift when used with a case with a high lip. Matte privacy glass narrows the screen's viewing angle – the content is visible to the person looking straight at it, while your neighbour on the bus or in a meeting sees a dark surface.

Oppo Find X8s camera glass

The camera island protrudes above the back of the body, and when you put the phone down on a table, it is what touches the surface. Camera glass protects the lenses from scratches caused by tabletops and keys in your pocket, without affecting the lenses or the flash.

Glass back and IP68/IP69 rating

The glass back of the Find X8s is slippery and collects fingerprints, and water and dust resistance does not protect it from cracking in a fall. It is therefore worth combining screen protection with a case. Films and hybrid glass do not affect the sealing of the body, and matte film also hides fingerprints on the front, which are immediately visible on a glass phone.

What to look for when choosing?

• Wireless charging – screen films do not affect charging; if you use wireless chargers, choose thinner cases.
• Case compatibility – films and hybrid glass are cut with a margin at the edges, so they do not clash with a protective case.
• Variant – the Find X8s and Find X8s Plus are different phones; accessories are not interchangeable.

You will find accessories for the other models of this generation in the Oppo Find X8 Series category.
