Motorola Edge 30 Fusion: design and choice of accessories

The Edge 30 Fusion has a 6.55-inch pOLED screen with a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz, clearly curved along the long sides. The front and back are covered with Gorilla Glass 5: in the standard version the back is matte, and in one of the colour variants it is finished with vegan leather. The body is approx. 7.45 mm thick and rated IP52, meaning protection against dust and splashes, not against submersion.

The 50 MP main camera with optical stabilisation, the 13 MP ultra-wide and the 2 MP depth sensor are housed in a protruding island. The phone charges at 68 W by cable via USB-C.

The slippery glass back and the curved sides of the screen mean that a case for the Edge 30 Fusion should have a lip rising slightly above the front: it then protects the edges of the display when the phone falls flat. In this category you will find:

Glass and film for the curved screen of the Edge 30 Fusion

The curved edges are the biggest challenge when protecting the screen. 3D tempered glass for the Edge 30 Fusion has curved edges and a frame that hides the adhesive area. Flat glass covers the main part of the screen and leaves the curves free, so it does not peel off inside a case. Hydrogel films cover the entire front including the curves. Gamers will appreciate the matte film, which reduces fingerprints and glare, and lets your finger glide more easily across its surface while playing. Antibacterial films, lens protectors and back films are also available.
