Motorola Moto Edge 40 Pro is a flagship with a 6.67-inch 165 Hz pOLED display, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and 15 W wireless charging. The glass back (Gorilla Glass 5) looks elegant but is slippery and easily picks up scratches — a case adds grip and protection at the same time.

Edge 40 Pro cases

Silicone cases with microfibre lining are the basic choice — they don't scratch the glass back and absorb drops. Rugged cases with reinforced corners and clear models that show off the original colour are also available. Cases designed for this model have a raised lip around the triple 50 MP camera module.

Films for the curved screen

The curved pOLED display rules out flat tempered glass. Hydrogel films are a common choice — they flexibly conform to the entire surface including the curves. 3D UV glass provides harder protection, but requires careful installation with a UV lamp.
