Oppo Pad, Pad Air and Pad Neo tablets – how they differ

In this category, we have gathered accessories for Oppo tablets without a generation number in their name. These are three different designs:

• Oppo Pad – 11-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2560 × 1600 and a 120 Hz refresh rate, dimensions of approximately 252.2 × 163.8 × 7.1 mm, weight around 507 g. Supports the Oppo Pencil stylus.
• Oppo Pad Air – a smaller 10.36-inch IPS screen, dimensions of approximately 245.1 × 154.8 × 6.9 mm, weight around 440 g.
• Oppo Pad Neo – 11.4-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 2408 × 1720 and a 7:5 aspect ratio, dimensions of approximately 255.1 × 188 × 6.9 mm, weight around 538 g, 33 W charging.

Differences in dimensions and in the placement of the camera and buttons mean that cases and glass are not interchangeable between these models. The name of each product states the model it is intended for.

Oppo Pad tablet cases

The most popular are book cover cases with a flap that folds into a stand for watching videos and typing. Versions with a stylus holder let you carry the stylus together with the tablet, which is handy with the Oppo Pad and the Oppo Pencil. Flip cases protect both the screen and the back of the tablet, and the closed cover keeps the glass safe in a backpack or bag. Brands such as Bizon and Dux Ducis make cases like these for the Oppo Pad, Pad Air and Pad Neo.

A large tablet screen – why it is worth protecting

A tablet screen of 11 inches or more scratches more easily than a phone screen – a tablet spends more time lying on a table, sits in a bag with keys or a charger, and ends up in children's hands. Replacing the display is expensive, while a thin protective layer costs little and can be replaced at any time.

Tempered glass and screen protector for Oppo Pad

• Tempered glass – rigid protection for the large screen against scratches and impacts.
• Hybrid glass – thin and flexible, works well with cases.
• Paper-feel film – matte, with a noticeable texture that gives resistance when writing and drawing with a stylus.
• Ceramic and matte film – reduce glare and fingerprints.
• Privacy glass – narrows the screen's viewing angle, useful on the train and in the office.

How to choose accessories for Oppo Pad?

• Check the exact name of your tablet in the settings – the Pad, Pad Air and Pad Neo look similar, but have different dimensions.
• If you draw or take notes, choose paper-feel or matte film – tempered glass is more slippery.
• With a flip case, check for the auto wake function and access to the USB-C port.

You will find accessories for later generations in the Oppo Pad 2 and Oppo Pad 4 categories, and the full tablet line in the Oppo Pad Series category.
