Honor Magic9 Series

The Honor Magic9 series is the brand's camera-focused flagship line. We have gathered here accessories for its variants — cases, tempered and hybrid glass, protective films and lens shields.

The individual models differ in body size and in the design of the camera module, so protection is matched to a specific version, not to the whole series.

Accessories for the Honor Magic9 series

Magic is the line in which Honor places its strongest photographic solutions. From the point of view of choosing accessories, however, something else matters most: the variants within the series do not share a body. They differ in screen diagonal, in height and in the geometry of the camera island, so a case from one model will not work on the other.

Models in the series

Accessories for earlier generations are gathered in Honor Magic8 Series and Honor Magic7 Series, and you will find all of the brand's lines in Honor.

How to match protection to your variant

The rule is simple: the model first, the type of accessory second. You will find the exact designation of your phone in the settings, under device information — in series where a base version and a Pro Max sit side by side, being one variant off ends with a case whose cutout lands next to the lenses.

Types of accessories in this series

  • Cases — from thin silicone ones to rugged designs. The key parameters are the lip above the screen and the collar around the cameras.
  • Magnetic cases — they supply the magnet ring that phones in this segment usually do not have built into the body, and without which mounts and magnetic chargers will not hold.
  • Tempered glass — 9H hardness, full glue and case friendly versions.
  • Hydrogel films and hybrid glass — thinner and flexible, friendly to the under-display reader.
  • Lens shields — separate small glasses for the lenses of the camera module.

Compatibility between generations

Accessories from the previous series do not fit the current one. Every generation changes the dimensions of the body and, above all, the geometry of the camera module — and it is that geometry which decides whether the cutout in a case lines up with the lenses. The same rule applies to glass: a difference of a few millimetres in the diagonal means the edges do not meet the screen panel.

The only accessories that stay universal are the ones unrelated to the body — chargers, cables and power banks.

Frequently asked questions

Do accessories from the Honor Magic8 series fit the Magic9?

No. The body dimensions and the layout of the camera module change, so neither cases nor glass are interchangeable between generations.

How do the variants differ when choosing a case?

Above all in the size of the body and in the size of the lens island. The top version is larger and has a more elaborate module, which calls for a case with a deeper collar around the camera.
