Holsters size M — the sweet spot in dimensions

Size M is a popular belt holster choice because it fits phones with 5.0–5.5-inch screens — a large share of models on the market. An M holster holds a smartphone up to approximately 150 x 75 mm, providing solid protection and convenient access.

Size M works well with smartphones such as:

• iPhone 8 / iPhone 7 — 138.4 x 67.3 mm (with room for a thin case)
• Samsung Galaxy S21 — 151.7 x 71.2 mm
• Samsung Galaxy A40 — 144.4 x 69.2 mm
• Xiaomi Mi 9 SE — 147.5 x 70.5 mm

Dimensions listed above are for the phones themselves — without a protective case. If you carry the smartphone in a case, add 2–5 mm per side and consider whether size XL might be better.

How to choose the right holster?

Measure your phone (or phone in case, if you plan to insert it with the cover). Compare dimensions with the holster's technical specs. Pay attention to thickness — some holsters have a rigid construction and will not accept thicker smartphones, even if length and width match.
