Photography filters — types and applications

A photography filter is a glass or polymer element placed in front of the lens — it changes how light is captured. At homescreen.pl you will find filters for smartphones (clip-on) and compact cameras in a wide selection of types and sizes.

Types of photography filters

• UV filter — protects the front lens element, eliminates haze in outdoor photos
• CPL (polarizing) filter — removes reflections from glass and water, saturates sky and vegetation colors; essential for outdoor photography
• ND (neutral density) filters — reduce the amount of light, enabling long exposures in daylight and filming with a wide aperture
• Effect filters — flares, stars, blur, prismatic effects; for creative photography

Clip-on filters for smartphones
