Honor 80 Pro Flat

Honor 80 Pro Flat — how it differs from the Honor 80 Pro

The Honor 80 Pro Flat is a variant of the Honor 80 Pro with a flat screen. Its OLED display has a 6.67-inch diagonal and a 120 Hz refresh rate, and the body measures 162.3 × 75.3 × 7.9 mm and weighs 186 or 193 g depending on the version. The Honor 80 Pro, on the other hand, has a curved 6.78-inch screen. The flat panel makes protection easier to fit — glass or film adheres across the entire surface and does not lift at the edges.

The phone runs on a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and has a triple camera with a 160 MP main lens, an 8 MP ultra-wide and a depth sensor, as well as a 4800 mAh battery with 66 W wired charging. The fingerprint reader is located under the screen.

Hybrid glass and screen film for the Honor 80 Pro Flat

In this category you will find several types of screen protection that differ in thickness and finish:

• hybrid glass — thin and flexible, scratch-resistant and less prone to cracking than classic tempered glass,
• hydrogel film — soft, fills small irregularities well and leaves a margin for a case,
• matte film — reduces glare and fingerprints,
• matte privacy glass — narrows the viewing angle, so people next to you cannot see what is on the screen.

Screen protection in this category is supplied by GrizzGlass.

Honor 80 Pro Flat camera glass

The lenses protrude above the back panel and are the first to touch the table when the phone lies on its back. Camera glass protects the lenses from scratches, and when precisely matched to the cut-outs it should not reduce photo quality. It is a simple way to protect the module if you use your phone without a case.

How to choose protection for the Honor 80 Pro Flat

When choosing, consider how you use your phone:

• if you often use it in the sun, matte film is a good choice,
• on public transport and at work — privacy glass,
• with a high-lipped case — hydrogel film or hybrid glass, which do not lift at the edges.

You will find protection for other models in the Honor 80 Series category, including the Honor 80 and Honor 80 SE. For charging via USB-C, wall chargers will come in handy.

All films and glass in this category are cut to the dimensions of the flat screen of the Flat version, so pay attention to the full model name when buying.

Frequently asked questions

Does an Honor 80 Pro film fit the Honor 80 Pro Flat?

No. The Honor 80 Pro has a curved 6.78-inch screen, while the Flat version has a flat 6.67-inch screen, so the protection has a different shape and size.

Does hybrid glass work with the in-display fingerprint reader?

Thin hybrid glass and films usually do not interfere with the reader. After fitting, it is worth registering your fingerprint again.
