The Armor and Power Armor series are smartphones with IP68/IP69K certification and MIL-STD-810G rating, designed for use on construction sites, in warehouses and in the field. Despite the rugged casing, the screen is still worth protecting against scratches.

Why a case for a rugged phone?

Ulefone Armor phones have a reinforced body, but the screen remains vulnerable to scratches from sand, tools or keys. 9H tempered glass serves as the first line of defence for the display. A silicone case is not necessary for drop protection, but it improves grip — rugged phones can be slippery due to their rubberised finish, which wears off over time.

Do I need to put a case on an Ulefone Armor?

A case is not essential for drop protection — the Armor body handles that. However, it is worth applying tempered glass to the screen and considering a case if you want better grip or additional card pockets.

Do tempered glass products for Ulefone account for the protective bezels?

Yes, tempered glass for Armor models is smaller than the full front surface because it accounts for the protruding protective bezels around the screen. This way the glass does not interfere with the factory casing.
