Waterproof tests
All cases are tested by the manufacturer for water resistance. Then, randomly selected devices are subjected to additional, independent tests, incl. another waterproof test. Enclosures that pass all tests are shipped for sale and the rest are rejected.
Military standard 810G-516.6
This is the U.S. military standard for shock and fall protection for equipment. The LifeProof case is resistant to the falls, vibrations and shocks your phone is subjected to every day. The LifeProof housing protects your phone against the most common cause of damage to electronic devices.
IP-68
The international standard IP 68 is the highest degree of protection against the ingress of solids and liquids. IP-68 enclosures stop dust penetration for 8 hours and withstand immersion in water up to 2 meters for an hour.
